Program 📅 of The Arctic Youth Championship 2026:

📍18th May – Arrival & Evening Activity

• Arrival in Tromsø – Participants should arrive by daytime. Registration on the hotell.

• 21:00 – 00:00: Welcome activity

  • Social hike up the Sherpa Steps/Fjellheisen with True North

  • Experience the midnight sun and panoramic views of Tromsø

  • Social activities during the hike

  • Group photo to conclude the evening

📍Please note: The Fjellheisen (cable car) is currently closed due to renovation. Therefore, it will not be possible to take the cable car up or down. Participants with limited mobility will unfortunately not be able to join this activity.

📍19th May – Interdisciplinary Innovation Camp & Social Evening

• 09:00 – 09:30: Welcome, Rødbanken

• 09:30 – 12:30: InnovationCamp Session 1

  • Cross-border team collaboration

  • Developing solutions for today’s Arctic challenges

• 12:30 – 13:30: Lunch

• 13:30 – 16:00: InnovationCamp Session 2
  

  • Preparing presentations for the competition

  • Presentation

• 16:30 – 17:300: Networking and competition in the City Center with "Fotspor".
  Experience the city center of Tromsø from a completely new perspective!

  “Fotspor” combines networking, teamwork and friendly competition in an engaging city walk through downtown Tromsø. Participants solve tasks, discover hidden details, and learn surprising stories about the city – all while competing in teams.
  

• 19:00 – 22:00: Social Youth Evening at Bryggeriet Scene

  • Dinner (drinks available for purchase)

  • Dance and music performances by local youth band/artists

  • Socializing and cultural exchange

  • We will announce the winner from the City Center competition

📍20th May - Arctic Youth Championship

• 08:30: Jury meeting
• 09:00: The doors are opening, Havnestua
• 09:15: Welcome to The Arctic Youth Championship
• 09:30: Stage presentation. The youth enterprise will give a live stage presentation (not a video) with an audience. Maximum length is 2 minutes. PowerPoint, Prezi, etc., may be used.
  
• 11:00 - 13:00: Jury interviews
• 12:00: Lunch
• 13:00: Jury Deliberation
• 14:00: Award Ceremony
