Program 📅 of The Arctic Youth Championship 2026:

📍18th May – Arrival & Evening Activity

• From 12:00 - 15:00 CET: Arrival in Tromsø – Participants should arrive by daytime. Registration on the hotell.

• 21:00 – 23:00 CET: Welcome activity

  • City Challenge around town with True North

  • Experience Tromsø by night

  • Social activities during the hike

  • Group photo to conclude the evening

📍Please note: Due to too much snow in the mountains, the planned hike will unfortunately be cancelled and replaced with a city walking competition with several different stops. Tonight’s Arctic hike activity will therefore be changed to a city challenge around downtown Tromsø. Meeting time tonight is 20:50 right outside The Edge. Please wear warm clothes, good shoes, and bring a water bottle. You will walk together in your interdisciplinary groups.

📍19th May – Interdisciplinary Innovation Camp & Social Evening

• 09:00 – 09:30 CET: Welcome, Rødbanken

• 09:30 – 12:30 CET: InnovationCamp Session 1

  • Cross-border team collaboration

  • Developing solutions for today’s Arctic challenges

• 12:30 – 13:30 CET: Lunch

• 13:30 – 16:15 CET: InnovationCamp Session 2
  

  • Preparing presentations for the competition

  • Presentation

• 16:30 – 19:00 CET: Freetime

• 19:00 – 22:00 CET: Social Youth Evening at Bryggeriet Scene

  • Dinner (drinks available for purchase)

  • Dance and music performances by local youth band/artists

  • Socializing and cultural exchange

  • We will announce the winner from the City Center competition

📍20th May - Arctic Youth Championship

• 08:00 CET: Jury meeting
• 09:00 CET: The doors are opening, Havnestua
• 09:15 CET: Welcome to The Arctic Youth Championship
• 09:30 CET: Stage presentation. The youth enterprise will give a live stage presentation (not a video) with an audience. Maximum length is 2 minutes. PowerPoint, Prezi, etc., may be used.
  
• 11:00 - 13:00 CET: Jury interviews
• 12:00 CET: Lunch
• 13:00 CET: Jury Deliberation
• 14:00 CET: Award Ceremony
