1. Social Entrepreneurship Award – Live, Create, Contribute - presented by True North / European Youth Capital

The award is presented to a youth enterprise that tackles a clearly defined social challenge through its business activities. It honors teams that generate meaningful impact, embrace social responsibility, and show how entrepreneurship can drive positive change in society.

The jury will make an overall assessment based on the following criteria:

- Which specific social challenge has the enterprise identified, and why is it important to you?
- How has the enterprise developed an innovative and different solution to this challenge?
- In what way has the enterprise involved the target group in developing the solution, and what have you learned about the target group’s needs?

What positive social change or impact has your solution had, and how can you demonstrate that it works?

The youth enterprise must submit in advance:

A short description (max 2 A4 pages) in PDF format containing information addressing the criteria above. If the youth enterprise has used artificial intelligence (AI), this must be disclosed in the jury interviews and in written materials.

During the championship itself, all youth enterprises will go through the following:

  • Stage presentation: The youth enterprise will give a live stage presentation (not a video) with an audience present at the County Championship. Maximum length is 2 minutes. PowerPoint, Prezi, etc., may be used.

  • Follow-up interview with the jury (maximum 10 minutes).
