Best Learning Process Award

3. Best Learning Process Award -

Best Learning Process Award is designed to recognize youth enterprises that have used the Youth Enterprise method as an active learning platform. It emphasizes the learning process participants experience throughout the year, highlighting how students develop skills, explore new ideas, and reflect on their own growth. Over the course of running a youth enterprise, participants gain valuable insight into collaboration, responsibility, creativity, and how society functions, building skills that will be highly useful later in life. This award is therefore unique, as it celebrates effort, development, and reflection therefore focusing not only on the final product, but on what has been learned and how those experiences can be applied in future education, work, and life in general.

The jury will make an overall assessment based on the following criteria:

  • The youth enterprise has reflected on internal collaboration and demonstrates a clear and well-considered division of roles: Describe how you have worked together as a team. Explain how you have distributed responsibilities, communicated, and solved challenges along the way.
  • The youth enterprise demonstrates personal and professional development among its members: What skills have you developed, and how? For example, teamwork, leadership, creativity, or problem-solving.
  • The youth enterprise demonstrates understanding of finance and the local community:
Explain how you have considered sustainability, financial management, and ethical choices. Show how you have used knowledge and networks in the local community and how you contribute positively to your surroundings.
  • The youth enterprise has reflected on its own learning process: What is the most important thing you have learned through running a youth enterprise? Explain what you would have done differently. How will the experience of running a youth enterprise benefit you in further education, work, and life in general?

The youth enterprise must submit in advance:

A short description (max 2 A4 pages) in PDF format containing information addressing the criteria above. If the youth enterprise has used artificial intelligence (AI), this must be disclosed in the jury interviews and in written materials.

During the championship itself, all youth enterprises will go through the following:
